I generally
favor massive linea, form, colour and texture, the core
to minimalism. My expressional works are built around,
and communicate this. Our reaction to verbal
communication and the way we process that information
in daily life, on an individual or societal level, is
at it's base, massive and minimal. We express so much
with a look, a gesture, a touch. The intent of my work
is to imitate those same reactions to basic
communication and what follows as processed
information. Some write life, I portray life in the
abstract. These four basic forms are the basis of my
expression: to me, linea, form, colour and texture are
the 4 abstract senses. They clarify the way we perceive
visual communication and translate it into an emotional
response.
Expression and reaction are the responses to what I communicate through my work. Some works are expressions of my life's experiences, others are reactions of our communiel life, while others are created purely, beautifully, simplistically, for enjoyment only. Stripped of extraneous forms, their essence are, at their core, an emotional interpretation to an event or memory.
They are visual triggers producing responses common to us. All of us have had unique experiences. The way we process and respond to these experiences are similar by the way we remember, react or feel them.

I use massive
linea, form, colour and texture in an attempt to
develop a clear expression. My art is for the viewer.
For their enjoyment. Identifying with the image is a
central priority. In our 3 second society an
ill-defined image can be difficult to understand and
runs the risk of being passed over. A potential tragedy
for both the viewer and image. At 3 seconds it's
purpose is unclear and it's true meaning lost. Minimal,
massive forms produce clarity of expression. This
method of communication identifies the image as a form
of expression that holds relevance, meaning and
appreciation for what it reveals to each person.
